A Cure for the Disease

Weathered words of warning,

Ignored by the impatient

And fervid fools who fake,

Art and accept that which,

They did not earn or deserve,

With smiles that do not,

Meet the eyes, the lies,

Of children armed to the teeth,

And unable to appreciate life

For what it is, their potential,

Stifled by their choice of entertainment:

The misery of others

(Which they use to smother

The love they never received

From their mothers).
