Faith’s Fragility

Give me your last words,

your carrion calls,

leave me your final breath,

come haunt my halls,

the banished, vanish

in a murder of crows,

wander to the Plague Church

to worship, whispered woes.

Written after visiting ‘The Plague Church’ with fellow poets, Alan Durham and Polly Stretton.  The three of us will be performing poetry on a walk during the Evesham Festival of Words, as well as various events throughout the Worcestershire Literary Festival.  We will be joined by the magnificent Mike Alma for the launch of my book, ‘Lacuna’ in August.  Exciting times!
