Raggedy Man (for Paul F. Lenzi)

Raggedy Man,

tatterdemalion,

mischief maker,

total rapscallion,

the village, verily,

better for his visit,

erstwhile smile,

his laugh – exquisite!

Written after reading Paul F. Lenzi’s ‘Raggedy Man’ from City of Pawns (ISBN 9781492330523)

  1. I love it – thank you Baldy for your kind acknowledgment – but I think you may be referring to my poem titled “Arrotino” (Grinder)
